Guided by inspirations such as her father, her godfather Sir Mack Rice (“Mustang Sally,” “Cheaper to Keep Her”), and her uncle LC Cooke, she has shaped a sound rooted in heritage yet unmistakably modern.

With a warm stage presence and powerful vocal range, Carla captivates audiences wherever she performs. Her album A Time to Remember pays tribute to her father through heartfelt renditions of classics like “A Change Is Gonna Come,” “Summertime,” and “Lost and Looking,” alongside original compositions.
