Best Management Practices for Landscapers and Homeowners. Soil erosion can affect new or established residential properties, causing problems with lakes, ponds, streams, and wetlands. Learn how proper site design, plant selection, and other ecological considerations can control erosion on residential sites. The workshop will also include information on regulations and permits, the importance of using appropriate vegetation, and tools for creating resilient residential landscapes. This course is intended as continuing education for Certified in Erosion Control Practices, but anyone can attend. Free. FMI wellsreserve.org/calendar.
