Description
The Joni Project, featuring Katie Pearlman and her band, is a celebrated tribute to the music and legacy of Joni Mitchell. This special performance honors the 50th anniversary of Hejira, featuring songs like “Coyote,” “Hejira,” “Amelia,” and “Black Crow,” along with classics from Blue, Court and Spark, Clouds, and more. Led by multi-instrumentalist Katie Pearlman, the group is known for faithfully recreating Joni’s distinctive open tunings while adding fresh, jazz-influenced interpretations. With an ensemble of highly accomplished musicians who have performed with major artists across rock, jazz, and world music, The Joni Project delivers a rich, sophisticated live experience. Audiences can expect an immersive evening celebrating one of the most innovative and influential songwriters of all time.
