Star Gazing with the Astronomical Society of Northern New England
Wednesday, September 29th, 2021, starting at 6:00 pm
We are partnering with the Astronomical Society of Northern New England to have a star party and view the night sky through their telescopes. Many of the constellations that you can see in the sky are named after animals, like Leo the Lion, Draco the Dragon, and Cygnus the Swan. We will have a chance to see what constellations are visible in the Northern Hemisphere during the summer and without too much light from the moon. There is a backup weather date of Thursday, September 30th if Wednesday is rainy or too cloudy.
This program will be held at the ASNNE Observatory in Kennebunk. http://www.asnne.org/starfield_observatory.php
