SUMMARY:United States and Canada relations
DESCRIPTION:Join us in a discussion of the future on the Canadian/US relationship. This workshop/discussion provides a Canadian perspective on all that is transpiring between our two countries. What do Candians really think of America? What are our differences? What do we find frustrating? What is our current strategy moving forward\, and most importantly\, what can we learn from each other? This is obviously a complex topic\, but if we articulate what we don't understand\, perhaps through dialog we will gain further insight. The reality? We should be learning from each other and growing together. Canada needs the USA: BUT\, the USA also needs Canada. Please come prepared to offer your thoughts and engage in civil and serious debate.\n\nDISCUSSION MODERATED BY HAL HANNAFOR Ater 31 years leading a traditional boys' school as a progressive educator\, Hal left the profession in 2020.We are indeed fortunate to hear the perspective of an educator who spends time in both of these powerful countries. \n\nFRIDAY AUGUST 7\, 1-2:30 at WELLS OGUNQUIT SENIOR CENTER\n\nPlease register so we have enough seats. \n\n south-coast-seniorcollege@coursestorm.com\n\nQuestions or assistance registering\, contact SANDI at southcoastseniorcollege@gmail.com
